NAA ASHORKOR'S work

Through her TV show “We got this Africa”, Naa Ashorkor has provided a safe
space for African women to freely speak about their struggles, particularly
postpartum and mental health. Through her April Foundation, she champions the
provision of free sanitary pads to girls from deprived communities with the help of
through her partners and donors. WaterAid signed Naa Ashorkor as a WASH
Ambassador to spearhead the campaign for proper WASH facilities in maternity
wards and women’s hospitals in deprived communities in Ghana.
